Day 1 Depart
USA Overnight flight to London.
Day 2 Arrive London (2nights) After
checking into your Trafalgar hotel, the rest of the day is at
leisure.
Day 3 London sightseeing & at leisure
Many major sights are included on today's morning sightseeing
tour. (Continental breakfast)
Day 4 London - Salisbury – Plymouth
Greetings as we head west through Salisbury to view its fine Cathedral.
Then across Salisbury Plain we see mysterious Stonehenge. In the
afternoon, we continue to the naval city of Plymouth, port of
departure for the Pilgrim Fathers. Later before dinner at our
hotel, we enjoy a welcome drink with our Tour Director. (Continental
breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 5 Plymouth - St Michael's Mount -
St. Ives - Barnstaple Today's drive takes us to Penzance where
we view St. Michael's Mount. Then we continue to the colourful
village of St. Ives before a beautiful drive through north Cornwall
making a stop to view the ruins of Arthur's Castle at Tintagel.
Then off to our hotel in Barnstaple. (Full breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 6 Barnstaple - Bath - Cardiff
Across the moors on our way to King Arthur's Glastonbury to visit
the Abbey ruins. Next we drive to historic Bath where an orientation
includes a visit to a Roman Bath. Then, we cross the Severn Bridge
to Cardiff the capital of Wales. (Full breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 7 Cardiff - Waterford There's
a chance to view the famous Castle before travelling across Wales
to Pembroke. Here we board our ferry to cross the Irish Sea. On
arrival in Ireland, we drive to Waterford for the night. (Full
breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 8 Waterford - Killarney Today
we visit the Waterford Crystal showroom before driving via Cork.
Then on to Blarney Castle with a chance to kiss the famous stone
and acquire the 'gift of the gab'. Finally, we drive to Killarney,
with its beautiful lakes. (Full breakfast)
Day 9 Killarney - Ring of Kerry - Limerick
Today we experience Ireland's most scenic coastal drive, around
the 'Ring of Kerry', County Kerry's largest peninsula. Its varied
landscape is truly a photographer's delight. We will also see
Killorglin (of Puck Fair fame), Daniel O'Connell's Cahirciveen,
the fishing village of Waterville, the Black Mountains and Moll's
Gap. On to Limerick. (Full breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 10 Limerick - Galway - Dublin (2nights)
This morning the Emerald Isle's scenery rolls by as we make our
way to Galway. Then past Ballinasloe and Athlone en route to the
'fair city' of Dublin for our two-night stay. (Full breakfast)
Day 11 Dublin sightseeing & at leisure
Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Phoenix Park and other
notable landmarks feature on morning sightseeing. The rest of
the day is at leisure. This evening, perhaps join us at an Irish
Cabaret. (Full breakfast)
Day 12 Dublin - Chester - Manchester
We board our ferry for the return across the Irish Sea. Then along
the North Wales Coast to Chester where we admire the medieval
buildings and galleried 'Rows'. Next on to our hotel in Bolton
for the night. (Full breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 13 Manchester - Lake District – Edinburgh
(2nights) - A morning drive through the English Lake District
brings us to Grasmere, the great poet Wordsworth's home. Then
on to the Scottish border stopping to visit Moffat Woollens en
route to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital. This evening, we enjoy
Scottish hospitality at dinner in a local restaurant. During the
Festival, we include tickets to the spectacular Edinburgh Tattoo.

Day 14 Edinburgh sightseeing & at
leisure Our morning sightseeing tour includes Princes Street
and the Royal Mile plus we make a visit to Edinburgh Castle. Then
view Holyrood House, once the home of Mary Queen of Scots. The
rest of the day is at your leisure. Perhaps shop for tartans and
tweeds or sample some delicious shortbread. This evening there's
a chance to enjoy a traditional Scottish night out with haggis,
dancing and bagpipes! (Full breakfast)
Day 15 Edinburgh - Scottish Highlands
This morning we drive into the Highlands, first stopping at St.
Andrews Golf Course. Then via Dundee and Perth to Pitlochry. We
continue past Blair Atholl to our hotel in the heart of the Scottish
Highlands. We dine at our hotel this evening. (Full breakfast/
Dinner)
Day 16 Scottish Highlands - Loch Ness
- Isle of Skye Our day begins with a visit Culloden, site
of the famous battle. Then along the beautiful shores of Loch
Ness, to the West Coast of Scotland and the Kyle of Lochalsh.
Next, we cross 'over the sea to Skye' with time to explore the
Isle before dinner in our hotel tonight. (Full breakfast/ Dinner)
Day 17 Isle of Skye - Glasgow Today
it's back to the Scottish mainland and to Fort William within
sight of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain. On to the 'Vale
of Weeping' at Glencoe before we drive by the bonnie banks of
Loch Lomond to Glasgow. Here an orientation of Glascow shows us
the highlights of this bustling city.(Full breakfast)
Day 18 Glasgow - York - Harrogate
This morning we cross Scottish borderland country and Northumberland
National Park to see Hadrian's Wall. Then on to York where this
city's history is written in its narrow cobbled streets, timbered
houses and famous Minster. This evening, we will enjoy traditional
Yorkshire hospitality at dinner in a pub before reaching our hotel
in elegant Harrogate. (Full breakfast/ Hotel dinner )
Day 19 Harrogate - Coventry - Stratford
– London This morning we drive through the Midlands to Coventry,
home of Lady Godiva. Here we see the two Cathedrals before making
our way to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit Shakespeare's birthplace
and see Anne Hathaway's cottage. Later, we drive through the scenic
Cotswolds, dotted with the golden sandstone of thatched cottages
en route back to London. (Full breakfast)
Day 20 London - USA Time to bid farewell
as we transfer you to the airport for your return flight to America.
